Study Study Study

With a 9:30am class every other day and an hour commute to school, not being a morning person has kicked my ass all semester. The second wave of midterms around the corner all I can afford to think about is my classes and the hours i need to prepare for my classes. I’m so excited to get math over with forever this term i just can’t handle it anymore. I’ve had so much time to think about my future and what I see for myself and it is actually hard to picture myself in a career. My friends are all in medicine and that is what they have always wanted to do, myself on the other hand I feel like I am flip flopping from career ideas every other week. I wish there was just a sign that would tell me what profession I should be in. I hope you guys are all having a better day then me.

Fit Guide March 16′

IMG_7221For March I’m following the FITAZFK 28 day challenge. Just at a quick glance at the workout plan i can already tell this month is going to be hard; the workout routines seem very light then to the ones I’m used to, but the dietary plan likes like hell on earth. Speaking as a foodie and from a trainer perspective I feel that the plan eliminates to many essential foods that deliver vital nutrients to our body. The program wants me to eliminate: dairy, gluten, carbs,  added sugar and red meat. I agree all those listed need to be consumed in moderation but the total elimination I’m not to sure on. Im not trying to achieve am unrealistic model weight with he program I just wanted a change up from my normal routine. I will post updates throughout the month if I remember but definitely a final results picture at the end of the month.

So I’m trying out this whole juice diet cleanse thing and its AMAZING! Highly recommend this cleanse to anyone wanting to be rid of the toxins their body soaks up. Green Carrot is a little organic juice joint in Osborne Village. They will set you up with a program for your lifestyle and help you become the healthiest clean version of yourself. Personal favourite juice is hands down the rehydrate; I must have been an island girl in another life cause i just gravitate to the tropical flavours of this juice. Feel good, look good.

Breakfast Berries 

Starting the day of right with this energy boosting smoothie bowl just might give you a better kick then your venti soy latte. Personally I enjoy the lasting benefits from a bowl; I am not starving by lunch and if I am hungry I opt for a lighter alternative to the classic cold-cut sandwich. Also being trendy on social media instead of a basic girl posting her morning coffee might just give you that added confidence during the day to accomplish the most tedious of work tasks or school study prep.
